Dr Nicole Rodrigues

Dr Rodrigues is a General Surgeon in Canberra with specialised subspecialty training in the field of Endocrine Surgery, where she manages various pathologies related to the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands.

Dr Rodrigues earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, graduating with Honours, from the Australian National University in 2014. She began her General Surgery training in the Canberra Hospital network in 2017, making headlines as the first recipient from the ACT to be awarded the Gordon Gordon-Taylor Medal for achieving the highest mark in the surgical entrance examination. She was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2023.

After completion of General Surgery training, she was selected to be one of only three inaugural subspecialty fellows in the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons (ANZES) Fellowship training program. Following this achievement, she has successfully completed an additional two years of intensive endocrine surgery training at both St George Hospital in Sydney and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

Growing up in Singapore and Sydney, Dr. Rodrigues also speaks Mandarin, enhancing her ability to connect with Mandarin-speaking patients.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the beautiful bushland around the Canberra region.
